Do you make products for luxury sedans and SUVs? Judging by the growing
number of imported luxury cars and SUVs in China, the market for your
products could be growing there, too.
Leading SEMA members, including AEM Performance Electronics, Eibach
Springs Inc. and Competition Cams Inc., have already signed on to
participate in SEMA's groundbreaking business-development conference
taking place in Beijing in September. The three-day event, entitled the
SEMA CIAPE China Business Development Conference, will include
one-on-one meetings with Chinese distributors who want to give China’s
burgeoning number of auto enthusiasts a taste of U.S. innovation. The
SEMA members, for their part, aim to find Chinese companies that can do
just that.
SEMA has developed a list of 1,500 buyers and distributors in China from which the best matches will meet with U.S. manufacturers participating in the new SEMA CIAPE China Development Conference, taking place September 23–26.
Nearly 150 exhibitors are signed up to exhibit in PAACE Automechanika
being held in Mexico City July 14–16 in Mexico City Mexico. This
represents an increase of 15% from 2008 and reflects growing
opportunities for aftermarket companies interested in selling into the
Mexican and Latin American markets.
The SEMA Show may be closed to the public, but the annual event is of great interest to auto consumers and enthusiasts throughout the world because of the thousands of modified vehicles and new products on display.
