SPY PHOTOS—CADILLAC CTS COUPE: DETROIT'S HOTTEST SEDAN LOSES TWO DOORS

Brenda Priddy & Co. photographers nabbed these shots of the Cadillac CTS Coupe, what some sources speculate will actually be called the CTC when it reaches production in May 2009. Codenamed GMX226, the stylish coupe will be built alongside the CTS sedan at the Lansing (Michigan) Grand River Plant, Priddy says.

The coupe will feature a backup camera (not currently found on the sedan) and will have a touch-pad entry system instead of traditional door handles. As seen here, styling very closely follows the concept, and even the dual exhaust is expected to make production. Only the concept's front end may see a modest toning down to bring it inline with the CTS sedan.
