The all-wheel-drive Allroad, currently available only on the A6 Avant wagon, looks to make its way to the smaller A4 platform, likely after the A4 Avant debut.
If the matte-black wheel arches and higher ride height are any indication, the A4 will try for a piece of the market—that for a car-based utility car with refined and rugged styling—currently enjoyed by Volvo and its XC series wagons.
