Collectible car experts gathered at the Petersen Automotive Museum, July
8, to celebrate National Collector Car Appreciation Day, taking part in
panel discussions that included renowned custom and classic car experts
talking shop.
Pinewood vehicles, built by children from Childhelp and Victory Junction Camp, will race against the clock during the SEMA Pinewood Drag Races on July 29. With a donation of only $95, you can personally sponsor one of the childrens' vehicles and help these worthy charities.
SEMA will distribute a total of $112,000 to 68 individuals through the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund. For 2011, 56 scholarships were awarded to those pursuing careers in
the industry, and 12 loan-forgiveness awards were presented to
qualified employees of SEMA-member companies.
