The WD-40/SEMA Cares Mustang is cruising through its custom build with
the installation of a Street Scene body kit and grilles, including a
urethane front fascia, side skirts, a rear valance, a three-piece rear
wing, side ducts, window ducts, a main center light mount grille and
lower valance grilles that give the vehicle a mean, tough road-racing
look.
The custom PPG yellow and blue pearl paint is now dry on the
“WD-40/SEMA Cares Mustang,” a custom version of the ’11 Ford Mustang GT
being built by WD-40 and SEMA Cares. Specialty-equipment companies donating
parts, equipment and services to the next stages of the project
include: Hotchkis Suspension, Katzkin, L&G Customs, Nitto and Polk
Audio.
WD-40 and SEMA Cares are tapping industry partners including Street Scene Equipment, Stillen, Forgeline and Paxton to help build a 2011 Mustang GT that will debut at the 2010 SEMA Show, and later go up for auction to benefit children's charities.
