Each year, a group of dedicated employees of SEMA-member companies recruits new SEMA and council members. Through the SEMA Ambassador Program, members have an ideal way to develop relationships within the industry and to recruit new members.

Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) member companies were once again given the opportunity to show their newest and hottest products to buyers at Spring Carlisle, held April 21–25, 2010, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Jeff Major is the founder and owner of Bed Wood & Parts in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. His involvement in SEMA and the Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) is a great example of the value and assets that the association and its councils can bring to each member.

The Light Truck Accessory Alliance (LTAA) will have an expanded presence in South Hall for the 2010 SEMA Show, with five trucks on display to showcase more LTAA member products than ever before.

Established in 1995, the Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC) was one of the first SEMA councils. Not so coincidentally, many of today’s MPMC-member companies were also original SEMA members when the association was formed in 1963 as the Speed Equipment Manufacturers Association.

The Manufacturers’ Rep Council (MRC) has announced that the ninth-annual MRC Rep Conference, previously held in conjunction with the Performance Warehouse Association Conference, will be moved to the SEMA Show for 2010.

As summer ebbs and autumn fast approaches, thoughts quickly turn to Las Vegas and the 2010 SEMA Show. And Professional Restylers Organization (PRO) members can once again expect to find activities of particular interest.

Every year, the SEMA trade show convenes at the Las Vegas Convention Center during the first week of November with thousands of booths and project vehicles as well as hundreds of industry notables to meet and greet.
