With the redesigned 2010 Toyota 4Runner scheduled to debut at the 2009 Texas State Fair, the Lexus platform mate, the GX, couldn't be too far behind. Brenda Priddy's spy photographers got a few quick shots of the 2011 luxury sport-utility before engineers hustled the car cover back in place.
Priddy says details are scarce, but that the GX will continue to share a body-on-frame chassis with the 4Runner. Power may come from the Tundra's 4.6L, 300-hp V8. An official debut is expected later this year.
