The Aftermarket Foundation’s Executive Committee has hired Joel Ayres as the its first-ever executive director.
In order to meet the growing needs of the automotive aftermarket industry, the Aftermarket Foundation has announced that the organization is actively searching to hire a full-time executive director.
The 22nd edition of the Aftermarket Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament is set to tee off Monday, November 4, at the Las Vegas Country Club. The tournament was recently renamed the Bob Schoeberl Memorial Golf Tournament, in honor of the long-time industry leader, philanthropist and member of the Aftermarket Foundation Board, who founded the tournament and was its most ardent supporter.
Robert (Bob) Hirsch, president of the Aftermarket Foundation,
has announced the appointment of William J. (Bill) Long, president and
chief operating officer of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers
Association (AASA) to its board.

technology standards for the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association
(AAIA), to its Board of Trustees.
Aftermarket industry leaders hit the links at the 2011 Aftermarket
Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament—held on the eve of AAPEX/SEMA
2011—to raise awareness of the Aftermarket Foundation. The event, which
took place at the Las Vegas Country Club and was attended by more than
144 golfers, set a new fundraising record by bringing in more than
$350,000.
Bob Hirsch, president of the Aftermarket Foundation,
has announced the election of three new members to the Aftermarket
Foundation Board. They include: Tony Bartholomew, vice president of
professional sales at O’Reilly Auto Parts; Brent Windom, vice president
of marketing and product development at Uni-Select; and Murray Sullivan,
director of business development at the National Pronto Association.
