You can now demonstrate your spirit for racing and giving back by signing up to participate in the second annual SEMA Pinewood Drag Race, presented by eBay Motors, held August 1, 2009, in Pasadena, California.
SEMA member companies can get hands-on and build pinewood dragsters with the kids from Childhelp.
At last year's SEMA Pinewood Drag Race, former SEMA Chairman Mitch Williams
won first place in the Modified class. This year, he will compete against SEMA
Chairman Jim Cozzie for the Unlimited trophy.
Stock cars are built by children at their camps and then sponsored by SEMA-member companies
through their donations to the charities.
