The SEMA Financial Benchmarking program was developed to provide companies with a means to measure and compare their business operations against others in the specialty-equipment industry.
Realizing that the industry needs new tools to help companies survive,
in January 2009, SEMA launched the monthly SEMA Financial Benchmarking
program. More than 6,500 companies have participated to date, giving the
automotive aftermarket industry unparalleled access to benchmarks and
key performance indicators.
SEMA’s Financial Benchmarking program was developed to provide
SEMA-member companies with a means to measure and compare business
operations with those of other companies within the specialty-equipment
industry. Each month, data is collected from manufacturers, retailers
and warehouse distributors.
