STRATEGIC PRIORITIES
Guided by the SEMA Board of Directors, the following strategic priorities have been identified for the association. These important challenges and opportunities will guide SEMA in helping the industry and its members succeed and grow.

EMISSIONS
SEMA shall prioritize addressing important emissions-related issues facing SEMA members and the automotive industry. SEMA shall assist members with compliance, education and resources to ensure regulations are fair and reasonable.

REGULATORY ISSUES (NON-EMISSIONS)
SEMA shall facilitate & preserve legal pathways to aftermarket modifications, as well as protect the right to enjoy modified vehicles on-street, off-road and on the track.

TRADE SHOWS - IMPROVE & EVOLVE
SEMA shall continue to improve and evolve our world-class SEMA & PRI Trade Shows, and develop additional opportunities for growth and expansion.

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS IMPROVEMENTS
SEMA shall modernize and improve its marketing and communication capabilities, with a digital-first focus, including social media, video and influencer’s.

MOTORSPORTS - PRESERVE & GROW
SEMA shall invest in growing PRI as the leading motorsport association by expanding support, facilitating growth, and by providing protection for motorsports.

IMPROVE MEMBER ENGAGEMENT
SEMA shall improve member engagement and member value, including an improved SEMA.org, more effective membership communication & PAC programs.

ADDRESS COMPLEX VEHICLE TECHNOLOGY & OEM RELATIONSHIPS
Invest in SEMA Garages, Member Education & Resources, ADAS, and improve OEM relationships.

PROMOTE AUTOMOTIVE LIFESTYLE
Promote the automotive aftermarket/lifestyle; develop stronger relationships with enthusiasts & influencers. Invest in impactful programs like SEMA Fest.

ELECTRIFICATION
Facilitate and develop the electric performance aftermarket. Embrace electrification at the SEMA and PRI Shows.
