Top Three Reasons To Join HRIA
Education: Each year, the hot rod industry gathers in Indianapolis, Indiana, for the Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) Education Day. This annual event attracts more than 40 companies in the hot rod industry to host educational seminars on new products or systems, installations, selling techniques or anything of interest to a hot rod shop. The companies on display represent the cutting edge of technology and product development in the industry, providing HRIA members with unique insights into the manufacturers of the parts they sell and install. Attendance in the seminars is free to all guests of the Hot Rod & Restoration Trade Show.
The annual HRIA Pinewood Builders Race was held this past summer in Long Beach, California. The 2012 race will take place in Pomona on July 27, and the vehicles will again be on display at the SEMA Show, where they will be auctioned to the highest bidders.
Networking and Recognition: HRIA hosts its annual awards banquet during the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The highlights of the reception are the numerous awards given by HRIA and some of the industry’s leading organizations. In addition, the reception showcases six of the finest hot rods in the nation on display in the reception hall. The HRIA reception also provides a wonderful opportunity for all HRIA members to socialize with old friends and make new friends in hot rodding.
Preserving and Promoting the Hobby: The “Futures in Hot Rodding” program exposes students to internship programs, available scholarships and employment paths found in the hot rodding industry. HRIA members are also eligible to participate in the “Hot Rodder Highlight” program, which recognizes companies and individuals involved with HRIA.
