SEMA Show’s Premier Manufacturers’ Rep Event
SEMA’s Manufacturers’ Representative Network (MRN) will host the Rep Technology Roundtable business-critical discussions moderated by industry thought leaders on November 2, 2014, from 3:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m. at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino (formerly the LVH), Ballrooms D–E. | ||
Building on the success of the sold-out 2013 Rep Technology Roundtable, SEMA’s Manufacturers’ Representative Network (MRN) will again host a collection of business-critical discussions moderated by industry thought leaders on November 2, 2014, from 3:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m. at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino (formerly the LVH), Ballrooms D–E. Client Leads to Build Your Business at the SEMA Show
An exclusive benefit to the more than 500 SEMA MRN members, the MRN Rep Center will offer a specific location at the SEMA Show to provide a lounge area, a private meeting room and business services that include a PC and printer. Offering additional value to MRN members, the Rep Center will again house Manufacturers’ Representatives Matching Forms.
Manufacturers’ Representatives Matching Forms connect exhibiting SEMA Show manufacturers to MRN reps who are looking for new product lines. The completed forms are kept secure in the MRN Rep Center, where MRN members can review and contact participating manufacturers to schedule meetings.
The MRN Rep Center is located at the rear of the SEMA Members Lounge and will open Monday, November 3, at 9:00 a.m. and close at the conclusion of the SEMA Show.

- Introduction to PIES and ACES

Just getting started with product data? This introductory course will explain the industry data standards in easy-to-understand terms, giving you the confidence to begin managing your product data like a pro!
- Advanced PIES
Monday, November 3, 2014, 9:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m., LVCC Room N261
Ready for a deeper dive into the PIES standard? This advanced session will provide training on more-detailed elements of the standard, including how to use advanced product attributing to increase product visibility and enhanced product-description building techniques. This session is especially important for product lines that are not dependent on year/make/model applications.
- Advanced ACES
Monday, November 3, 2014, 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., LVCC Room N261
This ACES session will provide training and insight into this critical data standard for more advanced users. Topics include advanced training on the proper use of each of the ACES segments and how to use the ACES Fitment Standard in conjunction with the PIES standard to increase product searchability and sell more parts.

This seminar is restricted to data managers. They will learn more about getting the most out of data sets from top professionals in the industry. They will discuss how to improve the quality of data with the goal of receiver customers selling more of their parts.
- User Group + What’s New at the SDC
Monday, November 3, 2014, 3:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m., LVCC Room N261
For SDC supplier and receiver members only, this user group experience is the forum where SDC members can have their voices heard by their vendors and customers. Bob Castle will moderate the forum and follow up the discussion with an outlook for the SDC in 2015 and beyond.
