SEMA SHOW EXHIBITORS PREPARE FOR 2012 EVENT
-- Priority
Booth Space Selection Deadline is April 27, 2012 --
DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (April 18, 2012) - With about 200 days to
go before the 2012 SEMA Show, exhibitors are poised to make a strong and
lasting presence at the annual event taking place Tuesday-Friday, October
30-November 2, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
While manufacturers continue to submit applications for booth space on a daily
basis, more than 1,000 companies have already committed to exhibiting at the
upcoming event. This number includes 175 companies that met with SEMA staff and
show organizers during the recent Exhibitor Summit in Las Vegas.
"We're encouraged by the optimism that we are seeing from exhibitors," said
Peter MacGillivray, SEMA VP of events and communications. "In addition to
securing space early, exhibitors are working closely with us to learn how they
can increase the return on their investment. We're committed to educating them
about how they can increase their ROI."
During the Exhibitor Summit, exhibitors spent two and half days in Las Vegas to
learn how to best set up a booth, save money on a variety of services, generate
the most buzz about a new product and more.
"The Exhibitor Summit is one of the most effective tools we have to assist
exhibitors," said MacGillivray. "We offer a number of programs to help
exhibitors promote their new products and connect with buyers. During the
Summit, we are able to meet with exhibitors face-to-face and demonstrate the
value of programs such as the New Products Showcase."
Those who were unable to attend the Exhibitor Summit are able to view video
recordings of the sessions at no cost.

submit a booth application with a deposit before April 27, 2012, will be
included in the Priority Booth Selection Process. The selection process is the
first opportunity exhibitors have to select the actual location of the SEMA
Show booth. After the Priority Booth Selection Process concludes, companies
that submitted an application after April 27, 2012, will be able to select
their booth locations.
