SEMA Online Marketing Conference Kicks Off the 2011 SEMA Trade Show
Top Internet Experts Share Proven Strategies for Online Marketing Success

Diamond Bar, CA (Oct. 4, 2011) - The SEMA Education Institute (SEI) will once again host the SEMA Online Marketing Conference at the 2011 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Monday, October 31. The paid conference, sponsored by eBay Motors, will kick off the SEMA Show (November 1-4) by gathering top Internet marketing experts and educators from throughout the U.S. to share their knowledge and proven strategies for online marketing success.

The full-day conference (9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and is open to registered SEMA Show attendees.

The conference will feature two education tracks - a Fundamentals Track and an Intermediate Track. The Fundamentals Track is designed for the business owner or marketer that has a limited working knowledge of online marketing, yet is looking for new strategies that are easy, or cost effective to implement for online marketing success. Sessions include: Mobile Site Development-Best Practice by Chris Marvin (Netbiscuits, Inc.); Success Secrets of Highly Effective Facebook Pages by Social Media Strategist, Amy Porterfield; Getting Found on Search Engines by Bill Leake, (Apogee Results); and Analytics 101: What You Need to Know by Matt Bailey (SiteLogic Marketing).

The Intermediate Track, is designed for the more sophisticated Internet marketer who wants to take a deeper dive into topics. This track will expose the very latest Internet tools and tips to stay on the cutting edge of digital marketing. Sessions include: Live Landing Page Review by Tim Ash, (SiteTuners); How to Maximize & SEO Video on Your Site to Increase Conversions and Traffic, presented by Mark Robertson (ReelSEO); and Your SEM Campaigns to Increase Revenues, by Kent Lewis (Anvil Media).

Available to participants in both tracks is the General Session by Tim Ash (SiteTuners), speaking on the 7 Deadly Sins of Landing Page Design. The lunch keynote speaker will be Simon Salt (IncSlingers) with a presentation on Mobile Marketing & The Enthusiast Consumer, and a concluding General Session - The No B.S. Guide to Social Media Marketing by Jason Falls (SocialMediaExplorer).

"This is SEMA's third year to offer an event devoted entirely to online marketing strategy," says Tom Myroniak, SEMA VP of Marketing and Member Services. "With technology changing at such a rapid pace, SEMA feels it is critical to gather subject-matter experts to share their expertise with the industry."

Completion of the conference will allow participants to earn .8 CEUs towards their Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP), or Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) credential from the University of the Aftermarket.
