SEMA Data Co-op Reaches 1,000 Member Milestone
--Industry adoption of the SDC continues at a steady rate--
LENEXA, Kansas (May 20, 2015) - The SEMA Data Co-op (SDC) recently announced the addition of its 1,000th member, now featuring over 385 Supplier brands and over 620 data Receivers registered in the system.
"We are all very excited about reaching this membership milestone," said Jim Graven, Director of Membership. "We have worked diligently to spread the word about the services that the SDC offers, and to get manufacturers connected with their customers to deliver quality product data in a simple and affordable manner."
The SDC's full-featured solution includes comprehensive data validation tools, unlimited secure storage and an easy-to-use web interface for supplier members to manage their product data. Additionally, data receivers can get exports formatted specifically to their requirements, and can manage delivery of data through a versatile scheduling tool.
"Our growth has not been without its challenges," said Jon Wyly, CEO of the SDC, "but we have continued to make steady progress in this very important endeavor. SEMA has invested heavily in an effort to provide a truly centralized source for product data management and availability for the entire SEMA marketplace. The SDC currently has over 4 million part numbers in the data repository, representing over 40 million vehicle application records, with thousands of product data feeds being delivered each week to wholesale and retail businesses across the industry.
