It has been a busy year for the SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN), and the select committee members played an important role in all of the network’s accomplishments. As of July 1, SBN introduced Erin Gilhuly of Toyota Motor Sales as the new SBN chair and Camee Edelbrock of ProMedia as the new chair-elect. The group is also excited to welcome four newcomers.

Coelette Chenier, Transamerican Auto Parts
Chenier hopes that she can help shape how the next generation of automotive professionals view one another—whether the counterpart is a man or a woman—and that they know they are all equal to work, love and drive awesome cars!

Lana Chrisman, McLeod Racing LLC
Chrisman brings a valuable insight with her family’s rich heritage in drag racing and her own 30-plus years in the automotive aftermarket. She embraces her father’s philosophy of manufacturing only the highest quality of performance products without compromise.

Tiffany Dorin, MagnaFlow
Dorin’s experience working with some of the largest aftermarket automotive retailers in the world allows her to utilize her firsthand knowledge to speak to end consumers and understand their buying behavior.

Erika Klein, AutoAnything

Klein has been involved in many facets of retail across many different product categories throughout her career. As a newcomer to the community, she can lend her voice to be an agent of change within the automotive industry. She is a global thinker who can help see different perspectives and develop processes and ideas that can lead directly to the bottom line.

Returning to the SBN select committee are JoAnn Bortles of Crazy Horse Custom Painting, Jenna Jefferies of K&N Engineering, Julia Johnson of Skyline College, Sherry Kollien of Ford Motor Company, Jennifer LaFever of Roush Yates Engines and Jacqueline Parral of Family Events.

The SBN select committee offers a big thank you to the following outgoing select committee members who have led and shaped the network over the years.

  • Rose Kawasaki, Exports International LLC
  • Susan Carpenter, JR Products
  • Nan Gelhard, Summit Racing Equipment
  • Christina Kwan, Kwan International
  • Karen Salvaggio, Thunder Valley Racing
