Fullsize prototypes for the Silverado and Sierra were caught running on the streets of Milford, Michigan, sporting new facelifts and additional visual changes. Sources suggest that the focus of the redesign is to provide more differentiation from prior-generation models and to possibly imbue design cues to tie the fullsize trucks to the Canyon and Colorado midsize trucks.

KGP photography suggested that the pickups may go the aluminum route to battle Ford’s F-150, but that change won’t come until the next generation, reportedly due for the ’19 model year.

This red Mustang Shelby GT350R prototype was seen testing on the streets of Dearborn, Michigan. The car is set to be one of the lightest and fastest Mustang vehicles ever made. A couple of the new features of the GT350R are its revised spoiler and back wing, which do more than add style. The wing guides the center of pressure rearward, which adds lift balance and improves
downforce.

The car is estimated to produce about 500 hp and more than 440 lb.-ft. of torque. However, at almost 130 lbs. lighter, the car is set to deliver better performance at the same output.

The Porsche Panamera hit the Nürburgring for some hot laps and showed off some new details for this next-generation model. The latest prototype sports a huge rear wing that deploys at higher speeds. The new retractable wing looks much larger than those found on any current Panamera models.

A look inside the next Panamera reveals a revised center console, with a single armrest for the driver and a redesigned tunnel with an extra cup holder. The HVAC controls look similar to those of the current Panamera, although changes are expected throughout the interior.
