Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Dual-Championship Format
| |
Hot Rodders of Tomorrow is a nonprofit organization that hosts nationwide Engine Challenges, where high-school teams compete against each other in complete engine rebuilds. All of the teams work hard to complete the regular season to reach the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Championship.
Team Proform (East Ridge High School, East Ridge, Tennessee), Team Moroso (Thomas County Central High School, Thomasville, Georgia) and Team Autometer (Eastern Oklahoma County Tech Center, Choctaw, Oklahoma) are the qualifying teams that will compete at the 2014 SEMA Show, which will be held November 4–7 in Las Vegas. One of three female teams, Team Royal Purple, completed its rebuild in 27 minutes and 10 seconds and will also compete in the championship at the SEMA Show.
Team Derale from Forsyth Central High School (Cumming, Georgia) and Team Fel-Pro from Peach County High School (Fort Valley, Georgia) will compete at the PRI Show, December 11–13 in Indianapolis.
