The New Products Showcase
The New Products Showcase is a key attraction of the SEMA Show. Featuring new innovations, updated product solutions and design trends all in one area, it allows attendees to review more than 2,000 of the specialty-equipment market’s hottest items in one fell swoop. In fact, it is a common strategy among buyers and media to head for the Showcase first, before they do anything else, to help reduce the time and legwork required to interact with all of the companies participating in the Show. The 2013 SEMA Show New Product Showcase is located in the east end of the upper level of the South Hall in the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). The 2013 SEMA Show New Products Showcase is located in the east end of the upper level of the Las Vegas Convention Center’s South Hall.
Cars & Coffee—
SEMA Edition With West Coast Customs
Cars & Coffee—SEMA Edition, Featuring West Coast Customs is new this year and is open each morning of the Show from 8:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. in the outdoor patio on the south side of the LVH (adjacent to the LVCC North Hall). Attendees can grab a cup of coffee and a donut, check out some cool vehicles, mingle with colleagues and get a jumpstart on their day by visiting the newly expanded First-Time & Featured Exhibitors section at the LVH—which opens at 8:00 a.m., well before the LVCC Show floor opens.
Ford Out Front
Ford’s crop of star drivers and racing vehicles will heat up the pavement at the Ford Out Front exhibition, providing buyers with an up-close look at various forms of motorsports and driving styles that put the latest equipment from Ford and Show exhibitors to the test in this interactive performance setting.
GM Proving Grounds
More dynamic racing action heats up the SEMA Show through the GM Proving Grounds. Visit the area between Central and South Halls to see vehicles in action and take advantage of the Chevy Drive feature, where buyers can hitch a ride with professional drivers. This outdoor attraction is another way that buyers can get interactive and witness today’s products in action under the stress of real-world conditions.
Exclusive Benefits for SEMA-Member Buyers
A Member Buyer Rewards (MBR) program has been established for those buyers at the SEMA Show who are also members of the association. Whether a buyer is an existing SEMA member in the buyer category or is signing up for the first time during the Show, all member buyers will enjoy MBR perks, including access to the MBR Lounge (located in the Members Lounge in North Hall, room N251); complimentary coffee, water and snacks; a dedicated MBR taxi line that is available in front of the North and South Halls of the LVCC on Tuesday–Thursday, 2:00–5:00 p.m., and Friday, 2:00–4:00 p.m.; and one complimentary one-way monorail ticket available at the MBR Lounge (first 500 member buyers only). Buyers who are also members of the association or who sign up at the Show will receive exclusive perks at the Show.
2013 DUB Show Tour
The DUB Show Tour brings the lifestyle trends of its namesake to life with the latest cars and trucks modified in true DUB fashion. In addition to the style and craftsmanship that are evident in the creation of these vehicles, buyers will also witness the latest car-care techniques and products used to maintain these extraordinary vehicles.
First-Time & Featured Exhibitors
The 2013 SEMA Show marks the first time that there are three First-Time & Featured Exhibitor areas located throughout the Show’s layout. The three locations are Upper South Hall, the New Products Showcase; on the Skybridge between Central and South Halls; and in the LVH South Pavilion area, near Central Hall. The LVH is located across the street, but adjacent to the north side of North Hall.
Toyo Tires Treadpass
When heading between the South and Center Halls of the LVCC, take advantage of the Toyo Tires Treadpass. It’s the most convenient path between South and Central Halls, placing buyers in the middle areas of each. The Toyo Tires Treadpass is designed to keep traffic moving and provide an additional experience for buyers at the Show. The booth and feature vehicles on display the week of the SEMA Show become a parade of rolling art through the annual SEMA Cruise.
The SEMA Cruise
The fitting final act for the 2013 SEMA Show is the now-annual SEMA Cruise. This parade of booth and feature vehicles is one of the most-anticipated spectacles of the gathering by the local populace. The cruise begins when the Show ends at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8. The festivities include awards, giveaways, entertainment and seating for the crowd. The parade culminates in a car show that will be housed in the Gold Lot across from the LVCC.
