SEMA News—November 2012
A Message From Roy Littlefield
TIA Executive Vice President
We’re excited and pleased that last year’s Expo was such an overwhelming success. Over the past year, we have continued our work with our valuable partner—SEMA—in order to make this year’s Expo even better.
We also hope you’ll attend our world-class educational session tracks this year: TPMS at 10, Truck Tires at 10, and Tires at 2. These sessions will provide fresh, relevant and useful information, and they’ll be led by the top experts in their field. Plus, you’ll have the best of both worlds—you’ll be able to take advantage of these educational opportunities while still having plenty of time to be on the floor to learn about the latest technology, catch up with current vendors and customers, and meet new vendors and customers.
We have also created a new educational session for this year: Commercial Tire Forum. All commercial tire attendees are invited to attend and encouraged to provide feedback regarding areas where TIA can better serve the truck tire and wheel servicing industry. The Forum will consist of a brief presentation on future training plans for commercial tire dealers followed by an open question-and-answer session with association officials.
We hope you will take some time during the Show to stop by our booth (#40049) in the South Hall. If you’re not currently a TIA member, you can discover what thousands of TIA members already know—a membership in TIA can actually pay for itself.
Finally, whether you are an exhibitor or attendee, your support of the Expo and TIA helps keep our industry strong. Again, on behalf of everyone at TIA, thank you, and we hope you have a successful and enjoyable time!
Sincerely,
Roy Littlefield
