Buick Regal
What Priddy Says: This updated European Opel Insignia is a good indication that a facelift is on the way for the U.S. version Buick Regal.
MINI Countryman
When It Hits: It appears that the final production Countryman Coupe will closely resemble the Paceman Concept. It is still on schedule to hit dealerships in 2013 as a ’14 model.
What Priddy Says: Putting the Countryman name onto the two-door Paceman Concept makes sense for MINI, considering that the production vehicle will share the same front end. While the powerplant is not confirmed, the Concept had a John Cooper Works 1.6L twin-turbocharged engine pushing 211 hp.
Chevrolet Silverado
When It Hits: The next-generation Chevrolet Silverado is due out for the ’14 model year.
What Priddy Says: While not confirmed, it appears that the ’14 Silverado will carry a larger interior and will be powered by a small-block V8 with improved fuel economy and greater horsepower than in previous models.
Acura MDX
What Priddy Says: The new MDX will be built at Honda’s Lincoln, Alabama, with the base version powered by a 3.5L V6 and Honda’s SH-AWD hybrid system offered as an option.
