BMW X5When It Hits: The X5 will launch some time in 2013. What Priddy Says: Here is one of the first looks at the BMW X5, shot near the automaker’s headquarters in Munich. The vehicle is set to grow significantly in length, helping to separate itself from the BMW X3 and giving the company the option to offer a third-row seat. |
Acura RDXWhen It Hits: Look for the RDX to hit dealerships just in time for summer. What Priddy Says: Looking pretty close to the production model, this prototype appears to be powered by Acura’s 3.5L V6 with 273 horsepower—the same powerplant as in the TSX. An optional 2.3L I4 is also expected to be offered. |

BMW M6 CabrioWhen It Hits: Look for the official debut of the BMW M6 this spring. What Priddy Says: With limited camouflage and looking ready for dealerships, this BMW M6 Cabrio shows off its bigger wheels, low-profile tires, cross-drilled brake rotors and quad-tip exhaust. Under the M6 Cabrio’s hood is BMW’s 4.4L, twin-turbo V8, which the team expects to be rated at close to 600hp. |
Kia RWD SedanWhen It Hits: Expect an official debut of Kia’s new sedan within the next couple of months. What Priddy Says: Around the same time that Kia released sketches of its upcoming flagship sedan, this vehicle—codenamed KH—was undergoing winter testing near the Arctic Circle. Also referred to by the more familiar Opirus and K9 designations, the new sedan will share the same rear-wheel-drive platform as the Hyundai Genesis and will likely carry the same powerplant options. |
