U.S. Spec Hyundai Elantra Touring/i30
When It Hits: The coupe version of the Elantra is scheduled to debut at the Chicago Auto Show, with the i30 Touring to follow shortly after. The new i30 is expected to arrive in the United States in time for the ’13 model year. What Priddy Says: Hyundai recently introduced the all-new i30—a.k.a. the Elantra Touring—to the world, but its plans for North America are in limbo. This U.S. version has fog lamps borrowed from the Hyundai Accent and not from the i30 previously shown in Europe. |
Ford F-150 Raptor
When It Hits: While the details are scarce and the changes well hidden under the mesh fabric, minor revisions are expected for the ’13 model. What Priddy Says:While not much will change for the Raptor, a slight facelift in the front and grille are expected, as well as light updates to the Raptor’s interior. |

SEAT Ibiza
When It Hits: An official release date for the U.S.-version Ibiza has not been announced. What Priddy Says: Captured during photos shoots in the United States, these shots of the three-door version of the SEAT Ibiza reveal a new grille, updated headlights (possibly LED) and taillights as well as a completely new front fascia. |
Mustang GT500 Convertible
When It Hits: The non-convertible GT500 was featured during the L.A. Auto Show, but Ford did not display the topless version. What Priddy Says: The ZL1 convertible introduced by General Motors is limited to 155 mph because of concerns with the convertible top. Will the GT500 get the same 200-mph rating as the coupe or will it be limited to somewhere around 155 mph like the ZL1 convertible? |
