Reaching Race Fans
REQUIRED READING
This month, we’re highlighting a few publications written for race fans. While these publications focus primarily on consumer events, they are important to industry professionals because they reach thousands of active and loyal consumers. These publications do a great job informing their readers about our industry’s products as well as relaying important information, such as legislation updates. We encourage the industry to support these publications and add them to your list of required reading.

The monthly magazine, which is published by the National Street Rod Association, is filled with articles and photos for race fans. With shorter lead times than many comparable publications, the news, coming-events listings and cars- and parts-for-sale sections are always timely and useful. In addition to featuring products from the SEMA Show, the magazine often includes legislative updates from SEMA as well as key consumer messages. |
With 48 issues each year, National Dragster features timely news on race events and legislative issues. Published by the National Hot Rod Association for its members, the publication often includes one-on-one interviews and in-depth feature articles on race drivers. A monthly SEMA column brings readers noteworthy news just for consumers. |
Race Pages, the official publication of the NMRA, reaches more than 69,000 serious Ford enthusiasts each month. Every issue is filled with serious tech, blue-oval news and rumors, NMRA event coverage and vehicle features. Given the publication’s coverage, it’s no surprise to see news and information from SEMA in the magazine. |
