Lincoln Electric’s new Red Line apparel product group includes gloves, jackets, caps and safety glasses. Red Line personal protection apparel is designed to work in tandem with the comprehensive line of Lincoln Electric Viking auto-darkening welding helmets, including the new 1840 and 2450 series.
Automotive enthusiasts can now turn their Android smartphones into advanced in-car computers. Palmer Performance Engineering’s DashCommand app allows access to advanced engine parameters, performance data, fuel-economy data and trip statistics. DashCommand can also be used as a scan tool to read and clear OBD-II trouble codes that trigger the “check engine” light. Data is pulled directly from the vehicle’s OBD-II port through a low-cost OBD-II connection device (available separately).
The Parrot Minikit Smart is a Bluetooth hands-free kit with a docking bay designed for all smartphones, whatever their size (from 56mm to 70mm width). The connection between the two devices is done via Bluetooth, and the Minikit Smart can simultaneously manage hands-free conversations and navigation applications available on smartphones. Calls and GPS guidance are broadcast through the 2W speaker integrated in the 
Lingenfelter Performance Engineering recently debuted an 800hp, turbocharged ’10 LS7 Camaro L28 engine and performance package. With a focus on turbocharging the Camaro’s powerplant, the Lingenfelter 427-cid/7.0L LS7 engine features an 8.8:1 compression ratio, forged JE pistons, a production GM LS7 crankshaft, titanium connecting rods and LS7 cylinder heads with titanium intake valves and Inconel exhaust valves.
The new GM2500B (shown) will fit select ’05+ GM vehicles and the GMT2049AB will fit ’92+ GM vehicles. Both kits work for more 30 vehicles each. Both the GM2500B and the GM2049B will accommodate either an ISO single-DIN mount with pocket or an ISO double-DIN mount.
EngineQuest (EQ), a supplier of stock and performance cylinder heads and engine components, has introduced new oil pans for Chevy applications. These new pans fit the 2.2 Chevy S-10 RWD without sensor OE #24576441 (EQ PN: OP134N), the Chevy 350 Marine with 12mm drain plug (EQ PN: OP350N) and the Chevy 350 Marine with 14mm drain plug with baffle (EQ PN: OP350P).
Mark 7 Machine says that it builds custom radiators that look like the original style but can be black anodized instead of painted for durability. New Mark 7 aluminum radiators are said to fit exactly into the core support and can be ordered in natural aluminum, polished or black anodized for a factory look.
According to the company, its Bed Guard Truck Bed Liner aerosol (264) features a unique trigger that makes it easier to use and keeps hands clean while giving a truck bed maximum protection for a fraction of the cost. For customers who prefer to use a brushing application, the Bed Guard also comes in a gallon can or as part of a truck bed liner kit. The PlastiKote Bed Guard Liner Kit (265GK) contains a gallon of Bed Guard paint (265G), roller frame and cover, scuff pad, roller tray and brush.
