SEMA News—June 2011
SEMA Show in Print
Narrowing down the list of must-read magazines during the first quarter of the year is always a huge challenge. It’s during that time that coverage from the previous SEMA Show hits the newsstands. Go to the automotive section, and you’ll find that just about every car and truck magazine is featuring the new products and trends that were unveiled at the Show. While these issues are likely to be off the shelves by now, you can access most of them online. Take a look at a few that we found.
Truck Trend Each year, the team at Truck Trend does a great job of sifting through the thousands of products and vehicles at the SEMA Show to bring its readers the best and most relevant items. The editors do a great job of listing the items in an easy-to-read format, numbering each item and accompanying each with a photo. This year, they came up with 27 of the best vehicles and 21 of the best products. See them at www.trucktrend.com |
Mopar Action With an impressive booth and a key walkway featuring its namesake (Mopar Alley), Mopar products were prominent at the 2010 SEMA Show.
Mopar Action shared some of the highlights from the Show with its readers in the April issue of the magazine. Visit |

Chrysler was presented with the SEMA Award for the Jeep Wrangler, which means that there were more Jeep Wranglers in exhibitors’ booths than any other 4x4-SUV at the Show. The abundance of Jeep vehicles gave the JP team plenty to work with. Readers will be pleased to know that the team honed in on more than a dozen of what they deemed to be the “coolest of the Jeeps” from the 2010 SEMA Show. See them at www.jpmagazine.com. |
DSport Dedicating eight pages to the SEMA Show just wasn’t enough for DSport magazine. Its editorial team created a DVD with videos and additional coverage to accompany its January issue. Featuring top products, top cars and top models, the DSport crew left no stone unturned. Visit www.dsportmag.com. |
