Subaru Hatchback-Coupe
When It Hits: At press time, the sporty coupe was expected to make an appearance—in concept guise—at the Geneva Motor Show.
What Priddy Says: Rumors run far and wide on this car, but there are a few tidbits that seem largely agreed upon. The rear-wheel-drive Subaru will likely have 2+2 seating along with independent suspension all around. As far as powertrains go, a turbocharged 2.0L boxer seems to be on tap, with a horsepower rating in the 260 range.
2012 Kia Soul
When It Hits: More details on the Soul and its release will be available in the coming months. |
What Priddy Says: Judging from the extensive camouflage, the Soul will likely get significantly redesigned front and rear fascia. New headlights and taillights are almost certainly in store as well. The styling on the door panels may also be modestly freshened. |

2012 Civic Hybrid Sedan
When It Hits: No official release date has been announced for the ’12 Civic Hybrid Sedan. |
What Priddy Says: The current Civic Hybrid has a 1.3L i-VTEC four-cylinder gasoline engine mated to electric motors. Priddy has heard that the Civic may move to the 1.5L-based hybrid powertrain setup also found in the CR-Z. This new Civic Hybrid may also be the first car in the lineup to receive the rumored, next-generation lithium ion batteries that Honda has been developing. |

2012 F-150 Raptor
When It Hits: The ’12 Raptor is expected at dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2011. |
What Priddy Says: Seen here flaunting its new LED daytime running lights, the Raptor’s possible future upgrades include an electronic locking front differential for increased capability in low-speed off-road maneuvers. However, the 411hp 6.2L V8 is expected to remain the sole engine choice. |
