SEMA Action Network
The SEMA Action Network (SAN) is a nationwide partnership between enthusiasts, vehicle clubs and members of the automotive specialty-equipment industry who have joined forces to promote hobby-friendly legislation and oppose unfair legislation. With more than 39,000 members from all 50 states and Canada, the SAN is the premier organization defending the rights of vehicle enthusiasts. The SAN has proven to be effective through its members’ passionate response to the hundreds of federal and state bills that directly affect all aspects of the automotive hobby.
The SAN reaches out to millions of enthusiasts through informative ads in magazines, websites, Internet forums and its own monthly publication, Driving Force. Most recently, the SEMA Action Network has joined the social-networking sites Twitter and Facebook to further get the word out. However, the simple truth remains that it’s the individual member’s and car clubs’ dedication to their hobby that is responsible for the network’s success. SAN members possess a passion for their pastime and are eager to convey that enthusiasm to their lawmakers, and their effort is essential to SEMA’s legislative success.
“Everyone who cares about the hobby should get involved with the SAN so we can pass it on to our kids, like I plan to pass my ’67 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme on to my son. I want him to be able to enjoy it as much as I have.” |

“There is nothing I love more than my Camaro. I have put a lot of time and money into it, and I want to make sure the hobby is protected for myself and others. That’s why I joined the SAN.” |

“The car hobby casts a wide net, and I’m glad that the SAN is looking out for all sorts of cars, classics and resto-mods like mine. I look forward to getting my new copy of Driving Force every month.” |

“Keeping classic cars alive is really important, and I think the SAN does a great job of helping us protect them. My wife and I both love classic cars—so much so that she let us use my Chevelle on our wedding day instead of a limo!” —Dan Rachlin Lexington, Virginia |

“The SAN is a class act! I appreciate everything it does to keep the hobby safe so we can enjoy it. I’m happy to get the action alerts so I can do my small part to help protect the hobby by writing to my local legislators.” |
