Each year, thousands of media attend the SEMA Show, resulting in added exposure for the exhibitors’ products and companies. Based on early media registration numbers for the 2009 Show, this year will be no exception. Media representatives from trade and consumer publications will be in attendance.
Notable television shows and news stations will also be there. Exhibitors are encouraged to begin developing and refining their message points now, as the chances of being featured in a magazine are pretty high. Just take a look at some of the coverage from last year.
Last year’s SEMA Show coverage lasted long after the Covention Center closed its doors. In fact, pictured above is just a sample of the numerous articles received by the SEMA News Bureau—titles include: Aftermarket Business, Automotive News, Diesel World, DUB, Four Wheeler, Hemmings Classic Car, Parts & People and Performance Business. Given the potential for media coverage at the 2009 SEMA Show, now is the time to get every element of your promotional campaigns dialed in. Get approval from your organization’s stakeholders for each element including press quality photos, broadcast quality videos, illustrations, campaign themes, talking points and staff schedules. With these items in hand, companies can accurately define their perfect Show. |
