FLN Spotlight Cameron Foremaster

The SEMA Future Leaders Network (FLN) has named Cameron Foremaster, marketing manager at Speedtech Performance, as the network's newest spotlight member.

Get to know Foremaster in his interview with SEMA News below.

SEMA News: What is the best advice you have ever received?

Cameron Foremaster: When my daughter was six and scared to go up a hill on her dirt bike. I told her we could turn around. She said, "I’ll never know if I can or can't do it if I turn around and don't try." Then she ripped up the hill and was so proud when she made it. That statement has stuck with me when faced with adversities.

SN: What keeps you in the industry?

CF: Working in the automotive industry has always been a dream. I love being creative and helping build the business. I have great friends and colleagues in the industry, plus I get to play with cool cars; why would I leave?

SN: Where can you be found on a Saturday?

CF: As a single dad, I am always with my kids. We spend our time outside, riding motorcycles, playing sports, fishing at the pond or watching some form of motorsport.

SN: How do you prepare for an important meeting?

CF: Whether it be presenting a marketing campaign, brainstorming sessions as a student or whatnot, I always do my best to have all the facts or findings necessary to be as proficient as possible.

SN: If you could go to lunch with one industry leader, living or dead, who would it be?

CF: I feel pretty lucky to have met or worked with a large number of leaders thus far, but one that will always be on my list is Elon Musk. I would love to pick his brain for an hour.
