Fred Van Senus--the former CEO and president of Vehicle Specialties Inc. (VSI)
and Van Sensus Auto Parts of Highland and Hammond, Indiana--has passed away. He was 79.
In 1998, SEMA recognized VSI as the Warehouse Distributor of the Year.
Van Senus Auto Parts was a family business until its sale to Auto-Wares in 2012. Van Senus and his brother Fred also founded, owned and operated the high-performance distribution company VSI for more than 35 years before its sale to Meyer Distributing in 2014.
Donations can be made in Van Senus' name to the Indianapolis Blue Hope Bash in support of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.
