SEMA Show exhibitors have named the Chevrolet Camaro, Cadillac CTS-V, Ford Focus, Jeep Wrangler and Ford F-Series as this year’s SEMA Award winners for hottest vehicles in their respective categories. (From left) Alan Batey, president, GM North America; Judy Curran, director, planning & strategy-vehicle components and systems, Ford Motor Co.; and Pietro Gorlier, head of parts and service, MOPAR, FCA, accepted the awards for their companies.

The top-trending vehicle models in five categories were announced yesterday at the 2017 SEMA Show. Selected by SEMA Show exhibitors, the winners of the 2017 SEMA Awards are Chevrolet Camaro as the Hottest Coupe, Cadillac CTS-V as the Hottest Sedan, Ford Focus as the Hottest Hatch, Jeep Wrangler as the Hottest 4x4-SUV and Ford F-Series as the Hottest Truck.

“The SEMA Show is the place where the newest and most innovative automotive aftermarket products debut,” said Chris Kersting, SEMA president and CEO. “Show exhibitors are the innovators and visionaries who help guide future trends in the industry.”

More than 2,500 SEMA Show exhibitors voted to determine which OEM vehicles are the hottest new and emerging vehicle platforms for accessorizing, modifying and customizing. The SEMA Award heightens consumer awareness for aftermarket products; points the public toward the marketplace’s latest, most enhancement-friendly vehicles; and represents the ongoing relationship between automakers and aftermarket manufacturers.
