Falken Tire Partners With Driver Jessi Combs With a Full 2014 Schedule of Off-Road Racing
Continuing its participation in off-road racing, Falken Tire has announced its partnership with driver and TV personality Jessi Combs, who will compete in the new Spec 4700 Class at King of the Hammers as well as the entire Ultra4 West Series. Combs will pilot a Jeep Wrangler-bodied tube chassis fitted with factory-supported Hemi motors and running on Falken’s new 37-in. M/T-series tires. Falken Tire is also involved in the Spec 4700 Class, which will compete at every West Coast Ultra4 race in 2014. Combs will run the same vehicle throughout the season.
Combs has been a regular contributor to such popular television programs as "Xtreme 4x4," "2 Guys Garage," "Mythbusters," "Overhaulin’" and "All Girls Garage." Her racing pedigree has been buoyed with a podium finish at the 2011 Baja 1000 and through her regular involvement in King of the Hammers for three out of the past four years. In 2013, she became the “fastest woman on four wheels” with a land speed record of 392.954 mph.
The Ultra4 Spec 4700 Class will be managed by Hammerking Productions—the parent company of Ultra4 and the annual King of the Hammers event. The spec vehicles—identical Jimmys 4x4-designed tube chassis—will run on Falken’s new 37-in. tires. The class races today, Thursday, in the 2014 King of the Hammers week, along with the Every Man Challenge event.
