The ’13 Ford Ranger T6. |
SEMA, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce, is bringing the new ’13 Ford Ranger T6 to the United States. The one-ton pickup is sold throughout the world, except for the United States and Canada. This is the second vehicle to be imported as part of SEMA's International Vehicle Measuring Program, which makes available difficult-to-access vehicles so that members can measure them and create export-ready products. The Ranger is being introduced by Ford as an alternative to the Toyota HiLux, Nissan Navaro, Mitsubishi Triton and Chevy/Holden Colorado.
The body-on-frame, Australian-designed mid-sized pickup is offered in three cab body styles: Double, Super and Regular. The vehicle available to members is a 4x4 double cab with a 2.5L five-speed gasoline engine.
Members will have access to the vehicle on at least two different dates:
- Thursday, February 7, 2013: As part of the new SEMA Product Development Conference: Race To Innovate Conference (fees apply)
- Tuesday, February 12, 2013: Additional days will be added as needed (no charge)
SEMA Product Development Conference/Measuring Session
