Get Camaro ZL1 CAD Data Before It's Released

	CAD data for the Camaro ZL1 is now available through the SEMA Tech Transfer Program—a data technology-sharing initiative between OEMs, SEMA and association members.

The SEMA Tech Transfer Program—which provides members access to vehicle CAD files from participating OEMs—has expanded its offerings with the addition of data files for the 2012 ZL1 Camaro.

With the ZL1 not yet at dealerships, manufacturers have an opportunity gain early access to the data needed to create products based on the manufacturers specs, helping to ensure a correct fit and saving companies time and money. The files currently available are:

• Front and rear fascia–lower body structure–Chassis-radiator
• Front Fascia–wheel wells, lights, grille, ducts, shocks 
• Front and rear suspension
• Air intake assembly 
• Engine assembly

The intent of SEMA Tech Transfer is to minimize or completely eliminate the necessity for reverse engineering in order for member manufacturers to produce products.
