More than 150 Mopar accessories and performance parts will be offered for the highly customizable, all-new ’13 Dodge Dart compact sedan, which was just introduced at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The menu includes a performance-styled, carbon-fiber scooped hood, performance braking upgrade, chrome aluminum grille and 18-in. wheels. Electronic features include a new wireless charging system, which allows the driver to set electronic devices in a specified charging zone and charge without wires. Wi-Fi enables users to utilize electronic devices as far as 150 ft. from the vehicle. An in-vehicle router receives 3G broadband Internet. Mopar's Electronic Vehicle Tracking System (EVTS) offers nationwide tracking without a subscription and sends the owner a text when the vehicle is driven too fast or too far based on pre-set parameters.
Available in five trim levels: SE, SXT, Rallye, Limited and R/T, the Dart is powered by three different powertrain options: a new 160hp 2.0L engine, a 160hp 1.4L MultiAir Intercooled Turbo engine and a new 184hp 2.4L MultiAir 2 four-cylinder engine. These three options are combined with three transmission choices—a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic or six-speed dual dry clutch (DDCT).
