CargoGlide Adds National Sales Force
CargoGlide has announced the addition of a national sales force. Industry veteran Alan Kuehl was appointed Southwest territory manager; Considine Sales and Marketing will handle the Midwest; and Jeff Stregiel is the new Northwest sales manager. “It is an honor to be given the opportunity to represent CargoGlide,” Kuehl commented. “I am always proud to bring quality products, knowledge and excellent service to my customers. I am honored to represent CargoGlide and look forward to working with [company president] David McInturf and the team.”
Delta Kits Expands East Coast Operations; Korey Gobin to Manage Operations
Delta Kits Inc. will expand its operations in an effort to better serve its East Coast and European customers. Delta Kits Account Executive Korey Gobin—2010 Windshield Repair Person of the Year—will manage the East Coast operations. When asked about the East Coast expansion, company president Brent Deines said, “The Northeast is a historically underserved market so we expect a positive response to this move. Although in the near term we will continue to ship orders out of our international headquarters in Eugene, East Coast customers are very excited about the additional customer service and technical support that will be available.”
N.A. Williams Continues Sponsorship of Care Council Women's Board Scholarship
Manufacturers' representative agency N.A. Williams has announced that it will continue to sponsor the Car Care Council Women's Board scholarship fund. The Women’s Board awards annual scholarships to female students studying to enter the automotive aftermarket. Two types of scholarships are available: one for high school seniors who plan on attending an ASE-certified post-secondary automobile technology program; and one for students who have completed one year of an ASE-certified post-secondary automotive technology program.

Josh Rohm Joins EchoMaster as Vice President of Sales
The EchoMaster team welcomes its newest member, Josh Rohm,
who was named the company's new vice president of sales. Rohm has more
than 15 years of experience in the 12-volt aftermarket industry.
According to EchoMaster, Rohm excels in product knowledge and customer
service.
Hagerty Announces Web-Based Classic Vehicle Valuation Tool
Hagerty Insurance Agency Inc. has added a complimentary new web service—known as "Collector Car Portfolio"—to help collectors better understand the classic car market. The new web tool joins the company's existing web tools—"Value Your Car" and "Market Trends"—and can be accessed at www.hagerty.com/valuationtools. The announcement comes before five major collector car auction houses begin business in Monterey, California, this week. Hagerty expects the auctions to gross $230 million in sales from Thursday, August 18, to Sunday, August 21.
ConvExx Promotes Kate Peterson to Sales Director
Independent show organizer ConvExx has promoted Katherine Peterson, CMP, to sales director. Peterson has been a member of the ConvExx staff since 2004. Prior to joining ConvExx, she was a housing services manager, group support at the Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Authority (now Visit Baltimore) managing city-wide programs. Her responsibilities at ConvExx include liaison with all customers, client relations and overseeing the sales team and processes.
