RTI Technologies Adds Two Sales Executives
RTI Technologies Inc. hired Mike Cable as vice president of sales and Keith Korchma as East region sales director. Cable has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive repair industry and currently serves as the president of the Equipment and Tool Institute's board of directors. Prior to joining RTI, Cable was the senior vice president of sales and marketing for Hickok Inc. Korchma, who was most recently with StreetGlow Inc., will be responsible for leading sales, driving revenue and contributing to product enhancements throughout the eastern United States and Canada.
Royal Purple Announces Royal Bird eBay Auction
On July 2–3, Royal Purple’s Executive Vice President Mark McFann and PowerblockTV host Courtney Hanson will officially announce the Royal Bird eBay auction to benefit the Hot Rodders Children’s Charity.
Following Royal Purple’s sponsorship of the second build of
PowerblockTV’s new series "Search & Restore," McFann was inspired
to offer his ’69 Pontiac Firebird for auction.

The PowerBlock TV show "Trucks!" will feature the installation of Ride Rite from Firestone Industrial Products
during upcoming episodes on Spike TV, July 9 and 10, 2011. "Trucks!"
hosts Kevin Tetz and Ryan Shand installed a no-drill Ride-Rite air
helper springs kit on a ’11 Ford F-350 Super Duty that is used
throughout the PowerBlock's sister series, "Search & Restore." In
addition, "Trucks!" also showcases the installation of Firestone's
Wireless Air Command air accessory system.

CEC Creates Autobot for Transformers 3
CEC announced its involvement in the upcoming movie, Transformers: Dark of the Moon,
through the creation of one of the newest characters, Q. The company
reported that its founder Claus Ettensberger was contacted by the
movie's director and producer, Michael Bay, to design the newest
Autobot, and CEC transformed a base Mercedes E550 into a stylish
Decepticon fighter. The conversion included a custom blue paint job,
an aerodynamic kit, a front spoiler, side skirts, a rear skirt, a decklid
spoiler, fenders, suspension and an exhaust system.
