SEMA Vice President of Vehicle Technology John Waraniak will join a prestigious collection of speakers and panelists at the inaugural Synergy Summit on Tuesday, August 17, at Eastern Michigan University’s student center. This event will unite educators; entrepreneurs; and science, technology, engineering and mathematics industry leaders, bringing diverse perspectives to cultivate tomorrow’s creative, well-prepared workforce as well as form collaborative partnerships.
“This Summit will not only benefit the current and future industries in the Great Lakes region but also will align interested companies with progressive schools and educators to establish effective experiences that excite the young and support our industries,” said Waraniak.
Waraniak leads advanced vehicle technology strategy, programs and initiatives at SEMA. His role is to help members understand the challenges, develop solutions and capitalize on new business opportunities presented by today’s complex vehicle systems and technologies. As part of his remarks at the Summit, Waraniak will speak about SEMA's role in supporting a wide spectrum of education initiatives and programs.
Designed as a highly interactive event for all participants, conversations and perspectives will focus on partnerships that increase the likelihood that young people will become excited in their pursuit of STEM (science technology, engineering and math) based careers.
