The SEMA Show Exhibitor Summit took place in May and offered participants valuable information, techniques and skills designed to guarantee a profitable and successful SEMA Show experience. The Summit featured key staff and trade show industry experts leading a series of programs created to ensure exhibitors get the most out of the industry’s annual trade event.

Searching for an affordable way to get to the 2010 SEMA Show in Las Vegas November 2–5? Well, look no further. For small- and medium-sized businesses that ship 1,000 lbs. of freight
or less, Freeman, the general services contractor for the Show, will unload the vehicle, deliver to the booth, and return it to a vehicle following the Show closing. Freight must arrive in a privately-owned or rental vehicle (i.e. car, minivan, U-Haul, trailer or rig driven by an employee).
Freeman also handles electricity, materials and overhead rigging. Elective services include carpet installation, furniture and graphics. To make these services cost effective, Freeman typically bundles them.
Three major cost areas are involved in preparing for the SEMA Show: labor, electricity and drayage. First, when choosing a labor company, determine your budget and then find out all the details. How many hours are required to do the job, how much do they charge per hour and do they charge for overtime?
Advanced freight offers shipping straight to your booth in advance with confirmation on piece count and whether any damage occurs without having to worry about target times. Because your time is valuable, especially when on the Show site, labor is available to those who require it.
