With the many challenges confronting the car dealer community, it has become increasingly important for dealers to develop best practices that will result in differentiation, increased profit and, most importantly, customer loyalty. Dealer Day 2010 was specifically tailored to provide dealers with the insight and know-how to reach these goals through vehicle customization. Dressing up a few cars from time to time is just the start.
This year’s Dealer Day will focus on accessory integration, sales, profit and will also provide participants with a “how-to” manual that outlines best practices and guidelines for Dealer Accessory Programs.
A real challenge for those dealers already running an accessory program and a concern for those considering an accessory program is how to best create synergy amongst the various departments within the dealership. A key component to this year’s Dealer Day will be an Operations Panel consisting of a dealer principal or general manager, service manager, parts manager, new- and used-car sales manager, office manager and a finance manager. Questions will be asked from the perspective of an experienced accessory manager. This diverse panel will provide fascinating insight into the inner workings and challenges confronting every dealer.
