Ford and General Motors presented their design awards at the 2009 SEMA Show to recognize and celebrate the innovation and ingenuity of the specialty-equipment industry. With nearly 1,400 vehicles on display, the Show's shinning stars came in many forms, from work trucks, trail riders and urban cruisers to hand-built hot rods, green machines and meaty musclecars.
While all of the vehicles brightening up the Show floor are standouts, each automaker designates several award categories and scours the entries seeking the best of the best.
Below are photos of the winning entries for each award category. For more information on the design award programs, contact Bill Wolf.
