TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OPPORTUNITY TO TAP INTO VOLVO'S YOUNG CUSTOMER BASE

Volvo intentionally made the C30 an options- and specialty-equipment-friendly car.

Attention SEMA manufacturing members: Make plans now to attend the Volvo S40 sedan and C30 coupe Measuring Session, Wednesday, January 30, 8:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., next door to SEMA headquarters in Diamond Bar, California.

With a slightly redesigned front end and two engine options (a 168hp, 2.4L five-cylinder or the 227hp turbocharged 2.5L T5 powerplant), the S40 is aimed at younger drivers with an inclination to customize. The C30 coupe meanwhile, powered by the T5 engine, was built with customization in mind. Volvo executives chose to let enthusiast buyers personalize their C30 with hundreds of factory accessory and specialty-equipment options (click here to read our impressions of the C30 in the October 2007 issue of SEMA News).
