Missy Bourdeaux, of Oracle Lighting, was recognized as the SEMA Businesswomen's Network (SBN) #SheIsSEMA Woman of the Year, and Riley Schlick, of Riley's Rebuilds, was awarded with the Jessi Combs Rising Star Award, at the SBN Reception during the 2023 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Additionally, Cathy Clark, of Bob Cook Sales, was honored with Immediate Past Chair Award recognition.
The #SheIsSEMA Woman of the Year went to Bourdeaux, in recognition of her positive impact and active involvement in the industry. Bourdeaux, volunteers regularly for the SBN and her leadership and continuous growth are an inspiration to many.
The Jessi Combs Foundation Rising Star Award went to Schlick, for making significant strides in the advancement of her career in the automotive aftermarket, along with paving the way for her peers. Schlick has been a force to be reckoned with; juggling college, her small business, and teaching others that they can do it too.
Cathy Clark, of Bob Cook Sales, was highlighted with Immediate Past Chair Award recognition for her many outstanding contributions to the SBN. Between her busy work schedule and select committee schedule, Cathy has multitasked leading, mentoring, and being an overall great friend to women in the industry.
