Karen Orlandi smiling

Welcome Karen Orlandi of ProCharger!

A mechanical engineer turned marketing aficionado, Orlandi's passion for automotive started when she joined the Formula Car Team as a freshman at Cal Poly SLO. This led to a permanent position as Product Engineer at Garrett Turbochargers (technically Allied Signal then Honeywell) where, after a few years, Orlandi was given the opportunity to attend UCLA's MBA program on the company's dime. Here, Orlandi's passion for data-driven marketing was born. It was also a springboard for her career at Honeywell, advancing through roles like Competitive Intelligence Manager and Business Development Manager, where she performed division-wide internal consulting, reporting directly to the CMO. Looking to shift gears in favor of more work-life balance, Orlandi and her husband purchased a wine eCommerce business and moved to Northern California. After 12 years growing her marketing expertise, especially in eCommerce, Orlandi returned to the automotive industry by taking the Marketing Director position at ProCharger. With her three sons now entering teenage-hood, Orlandi looks forward to expanding her participation in an industry she's loved since 1995.

This is what Orlandi has to say about joining the MPMC Select Committee:"In this current chapter of my life, where I am pouring my heart and soul into the automotive aftermarket, volunteering for a SEMA committee is a perfect compliment. I've witnessed firsthand how MPMC has helped our company grow and improve, and I would love to be part of a committee that can bring a similar benefit to other brands and media."
