The annual SEMA Show is filled with events, activities and attractions specifically for those in the hot rod industry.
One of the premier hot rod events at the Show is the HRIA Reception. With Showgoers gathered in Pavilion Ballrooms of the Westgate Hotel, the annual ceremony is one of the SEMA Show's largest gatherings and HRIA's most celebrated events. The evening is the best time for council members to relax and connect, as they catch up from the past year over drinks and appetizers. The ceremony will include a presentation of two new awards: The Design & Innovation Award will recognize a builder that has a vehicle that exemplifies the meaning of an exceptional hot rod; The Evolution of Hot-Rodding Award will recognize a builder that has a vehicle that pushes the boundaries of tradition and embodies the evolving trends in the hot rod industry.
Owners and builders can apply with the following: The vehicle must be present at the show; It must be the vehicles first year at the SEMA Show however the vehicle does not have to be debuted at the SEMA Show. Competition entry closes on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 11:59pm. Formal entry is posting to Instagram with:
- A photo of the vehicle
- Proper use of the competition hashtag #SEMAHRIA2022
- Year/Make/Model of the vehicle
- Builder Name
- Shop Name
- Booth # or relative location (ex. Silver Lot)
This can be updated by October 30, 2022 if location is to be determined.
Awards for the HRIA Hall of Fame, Industry Recognition and Business of the Year will also be presented during the reception.
