Products often take the spotlight at the SEMA Show, as they are recognized with awards in categories that range from packaging design, and electric vehicle products, to exterior accessories and engineered products. What often gets overlooked are a vehicle's engineering quality – Until now.
Thanks to a recently approved ETTN proposal, the SEMA Best Engineered Vehicle Award will be presented during this year's SEMA Show. The award recognizes a vehicle displayed at the Show for the quality of engineering of the entire vehicle, or an aspect of the vehicle that goes beyond outward appearance.
"We want to make sure that all builders who are in the process of vehicle projects prepare now, so that they can incorporate features that might qualify for this new award," said Rob Simons of the ETTN Select Committee.
Details on how to enter will be announced closer to the SEMA Show.
