Brian Herron, Wendy Miles, and Justin Starkey
The SEMA Emerging Trends & Technology Network (ETTN) has announced Brian Herron of Opus IVS, Wendy Miles of LeachCo LLC/The Auto Builder, and Justin Starkey of VMP Performance as the Network’s newest Select Committee members. Herron, Miles, and Starkey will serve a two-year volunteer term.
Brian Herron
Brian Herron is the CEO of Opus IVS, an aftermarket company that develops technology to address emerging vehicle tech. Having been involved in changing vehicle technology since 1998, Herron has worked with the government and industry to help customizers and repairers be prepared for the future. He is an MBA graduate, the inventor of over 100 patents pending, and has helped with the leadership and growth of companies from seven employees to 400 on three continents.
Wendy Miles
Wendy Miles is the Senior Account Executive at The Auto Builder and a part-time Assistant Instructor-Automotive at Aims Community College. Passionate about growing the industry through educating and involving new enthusiasts, Miles supports students seeking automotive degrees and ensures that they are aware of and compliant with laws surrounding automotive modifications. Miles joins ETTN following her term on the TORA Select Committee where she played an integral role in the success of the Council’s subcommittees and events.
Justin Starkey
Justin Starkey is Part Owner at VMP Performance. In his role, he is the head of engineering which encompasses product design and calibrations including emissions compliance. Skilled in engineering, motorsports, and regulatory compliance, Starkey is an avid reader who is always curious and wanting to learn. Some of his favorite books are Radical Candor by Kim Scott and Dare to Lead by Brene Brown.
