The ARMO Person of the Year Award went to Weisman, for her exceptional contributions to the automotive restoration market within the past year. Weisman is an advocate for the restoration segment, and through those efforts, found her place in the ARMO Select committee as one of the first woman Chairs.
The ARMO Business of the Year Award went to Singer Vehicle Design for the company's outstanding impression on the restoration industry. Based in Los Angeles, California, Singer Vehicle Design specializes in restoring and modifying Porche 911s.
ARMO isn't just for American car brands. Companies like Singer who envision, create, restore and help expand the restored car culture, are a part of the ARMO family too. Singers' roots run deep in restoration as they started as a small shop, restoring 1989-1994 Porsches. They are now proud to have restored over 500 Porches with a value of over 1 million each.
Jim Skelly was recognized with the ARMO Hall of Fame Award. His whole body of work with ARMO, since 2007 to now, has been helpful, enlightening and inspiring. His countless hours of work on behalf of an industry that he not only cares about, but loves, has been truly a gift.
Nominations for ARMO Awards will open mid-2024 at www.sema.org/cn-awards.
